Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just some of her movie roles. Bello was a star on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and with other prominent roles, like Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath, and Jacqueline Sloane, Special Agent on NCIS from 2017 to 2021. Bello was born on 18 April 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science Bello was a student in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. [18] She wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the Labels We Give to ourselves (Dey Street Books - April 28 in 2015).
